What we collect

FeelTarot collects only what is necessary to provide the service:

Your Apple ID identifier (a unique, anonymous sub value — not your Apple ID email unless you choose to share it)
The email address you optionally share during Apple Sign-In
The tarot readings, questions, and notes you create on the platform
Your daily card selections and reading history
Your username and display name that you choose

How we use your data

To authenticate you securely via Apple Sign-In
To store and display your tarot readings and daily cards
To power the reading exchange system between community members
To generate AI-powered interpretations via the Deepseek API
To compute your magic and karma scores

AI interpretations

When you request an AI interpretation, the content of your reading (card names, positions, orientations, and your question) is sent to Deepseek's API to generate the interpretation. We do not send your name, email, or account details to the AI service.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. Readings you mark as "public" are visible to other signed-in users. You can make any reading private at any time.

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Profile page.

Security

Authentication tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM (JWE). We use HTTPS in production. Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled entirely by Apple.
